New entertainment news post 2/27 2009

I got this from yahoo entertainment. Ed McMahon former Johnny Carson kick was hospitalized today with pneumonia. Hospital spokesman Howard Bragman said it was serious noting his age, but that they were hopeful on a full recovery. It is my sincere hope that Mr. McMahon will recover soon.

Jennifer Hudson said on the Oprah Winfrey show that getting back to work and performing is great therapy for her. “I’m just glad to be back and be back to work again. Just doing what I love to do is like therapy,”  she lamented on the show. I for one am glad to see her back performing again. She is a great a great performer and I hope that she will do well in the future.

And it looks like New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Brazilian Supermodel Gisele Bundchen got married over the past few days.  I hope that their marriage will be a long and happy one. Good going guys!

And hear is another bit of news Director Ang Lee who won a Best Directing Oscar for “Brokeback Mountain” in 2005 will head the jury at the 2009 Venice Film Festival. He has also won the prestigous Venice Film Festival award “The Golden Lion” in 2007. By the way here is a link to Mr. Lee’s upcoming movie Taking Woodstock.
